Just 33 minutes from our inn (47 kilometers) you can find one of the most committed spaces with the conservation and the environmental education in Spain: The Santillana Zoo.
Since its opening in 1977, this zoo shas remained steadfast in its objectives: the protection of nature and the importance of education for future generations. It is also a founding member of the Iberian Association of Zoos and Aquariums (AIZA), thus forming part of the European Association of Zoos and Aquariums (EAZA), which supports its commitment to the standards of animal welfare.
