We start with a new section in which we want to talk to you about all the routes that can be done from the Inn.
The great geographical diversity gives us the opportunity to walk through small mountains, country roads, groves and cliffs with fantastic views of the beach; always in direct contact with nature, allowing you to discover not only the flora but also the fauna of the area both on foot or by bike.
This week we propose a one-way route, although for the most experts it may be considered short, so it can always become a round trip route.
DISTANCE: 6 Kms - Approximate time: 2 hours. Arrival in the town of Carriazo
We leave the inn, heading towards Castanedo along the parcels. After 200 meters we will pass the hermitage of San Pedro, which has a typical Cantabrian bowling alley with a flagstone bowling alley on the outside. We follow the path for about 600 meters until we reach the crossroads where the Suesa and Pontones paths meet. We continue to the right for 20 meters and take the path that ascends towards the top of Tirado. The medium-high mountain landscape joins the native beech and oak groves. We will pass through the neighborhoods of Los Hoyos and Beautiful Cantera, until we reach the center of the town of Carriazo where the Hermitage of San Antonio is located. From inside the town there is also the possibility of accessing Pico Funegra, the highest mountain in the area at 188 meters, offering fantastic views of the coastline.
